Stiles, which is weirdly short for Mieczyslaw (his grandfather's name), is a very important character in this series. He's  the son of Sheriff Stilinski and Scott McCall's best friend whom he helped through the various complications facing a young werewolf.

Stiles' known for his hilarious sarcasm and you can say that's his only defense knowing that he's not a werewolf like Scott. He is one of the characters that show loyalty and outstanding bravery.
